Mohammed Hoque, MD

Dr. Hoque was born and raised in New York City.  He earned his Bachelors of Engineering from Stony Brook University in 2009 and later graduated from Stony Brook School of Medicine in 2013.  Dr. Hoque completed his radiology residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where he served at Chief Resident.  He attended fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.  After graduating fellowship in 2019, Dr. Hoque decided to roll the dice and move to Sin City, where he has practiced medicine ever since.  

Dr. Hoque served as the Chief of Radiology at Desert Springs Hospital from July 2021 to July 2023 and later served at the Chief of Radiology at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada, which is Nevada’s only Level I trauma center, from July 2023 to December 2023.

Dr. Hoque is board certified in Interventional Radiology and helps treat a variety of diseases, including peripheral arterial disease, uterine fibroids, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), spine fractures, liver and kidney cancers, chronic venous disease, shoulder pain, knee pain, etc.  He is dedicated to lifelong learning and has published chapters and articles in numerous textbook and chapters, including a textbook specifically written for prostate artery embolization.  He is an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Hoque takes pride in developing a meaningful relationship with his patients.  He enjoys anything baseball-related, taking long drives, good food, golfing, and taking part in all things Vegas.
